(I) CONSULTANCY
The institute has developed capability to provide consultancy
from the designing stage through the implementation stage to the
commissioning stage in a diverse range of industries including
chemical industry, food processing industry, information
technology and software, auto and auto ancillaries, pharma
industry, cement, iron and steel, infrastructure etc. The
institute also undertakes task based consultancy projects.
Apart from technical consultancy, the institute can also undertake
management consultancy projects related to strategic management,
supply chain, activity based costing, balanced scorecard,
financial management, human resources management and marketing
management areas.
(II) TESTING FACILITIES
The Institute has developed up-to-date testing facilities in
the Department of Chemical and Mechanical Engineering. The testing
services include determining the strength of building materials,
testing of water for industrial and domestic use, chemical testing
of cement, lubricants, fuels, alloys, ores, plastics, resins and
other organic and inorganic materials.
