Raipur Institute of Technology (RITEE) celebrated 66th Republic Day in presence of all professors,students and staffs with patriotic zeal and fervor.
On this special day, secretary of Mahanadi Education Society Mr. Shailendra Jain was the Chief guest and he was escorted by Principal of the college and other senior professors.

More than 108 students in Raipur Institute of Technology (RITEE) have been selected in various companies through campus interview in the current academic session. The companies are Unitel wireless solution Pvt Ltd, Phoenix C services, CMC, Epic Research, Wipro BPO, KPIT, Genpect and Interbridge.

Raipur Institute of Technology (RITEE) conducted Mock-Test on 18th January at its campus for the students preparing for the entrance tests like PET, PMT, JEE and PPHT. More than 1500 students from Raipur, Arang, Mahasamund, Kharora, Rajim, Korba were participated in this with keen interest.

'Tech-Fest 2014' was organised at Raipur Institute of Technology (RITEE) for the school students. theme for the event was 'Science, Environment and Technology' and based on its various competitions including science and technical model exhibition, poster presentation, quiz, debate were organised in which the students registered their active participation.

Raipur Institute of Technology (RITEE) organised a one day workshop on the relevant topic of 'Disaster Management in context of Chhattisgarh' in its premises. The workshop was aimed at conveying the basic idea of disaster management to engineering students.

NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning), which is an initiative by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for creating course contents in engineering and science, has conducted one day workshop at RITEE, Raipur on 19th July 2013. This workshop was attended by the faculty members and students of RITEE..

A one-day workshop on the topic “White Cement and its Uses” was jointly organized by the Civil Engineering Department of the Institute and J&K Cement on 27th August 2013 at the RIT Campus. From JK Cement, Shri Rajesh Tandon, Manager, Raipur was present. Dignitaries present on the occasion included Director of the Institute Dr. N.K. Saikhedkar; Principal Dr. M.L. Agrawal, Professor Dinesh Chandra and HOD Civil Engineering Shri Amit Mishra. From JK Cement, Shri Rajesh Tandon, Manager, Raipur was present. Guest Lecture by Miss PRAGYA, Techno management consultant, from Oracle Ltd, Hyderabad, on “(a) Data Base Management and its application. (b)Trends in IT industries, and (c) How to crack Interviews” was organized on 23rd February, 2017 by the department, for CSE students. She addressed the students about the Data Base Management system, various phases of development of an application and role of team members involved in software development. She shared actual working of IT MNCs and her useful experience regarding how to crack technical as well as personal interview. She focused on the changing trends of software industries like upcoming new technologies and its importance. She also emphasized on importance of communication skills, confidence and latest technical skills for cracking any interviews. During the end of session she also addressed the queries by the participants. The session on the whole was quite informative and useful for the students who are eyeing to get placed in MNCs.

Guest Lecture by Mr. Jagendra Nath, from IIHT, Raipur,on “ETHICAL HACKING” was organized on 10th February, 2017 by the department, for CSE students. He spoke about the huge scope in the field of Ethical Hacking. He elaborated on topics like hacking, Types of hacking, Tools related to hacking and its application areas. He also stressed on the importance of strengthening algorithmic part of programming. He explained the importance of hackers with respect to penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. He discussed about Cyber Crime terminologies and about hacking the password in Linux environment by demonstrating live example. During the end of session he also addressed the queries by the participants. The session on the whole was quite informative and useful for the students who are eyeing to get placed in MNCs.

Smart India Hackathon-2017

In order to work towards our PM’s vision, Ministry of HRD, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) propose the Smart India Hackathon 2017, a unique initiative to identify new and disruptive digital technology innovations for solving the challenges faced by our country. Smart India Hackathon 2017 is a computer programming competition which will involve all Engineering colleges with a reach to approximately 30 Lakh students from across India. On behalf of Institute, Department of Computer Science & Engineering participating in this event. From branch two teams named Solvix and Code vibes submitted the solution strategy for problems specified by AICTE. Various lectures delivered by various experts from industry were arranged on schedule specified by AICTE
